1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Negative Five World ("the Platform"), operated at negativefive.world, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Registration & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Credit System & Payments

The Platform operates on a credit-based system:

• Credits are consumed when using premium features such as AI discovery, enrichment, email sending, and grant writing.
• Free credits are provided upon account creation and may be earned through community contributions.
• Credit packs can be purchased directly via PayPal. All purchases are final once credits have been used.
• Subscriptions provide monthly credit allowances. Unused credits do not roll over unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to adjust credit costs for specific actions at any time.
• Refunds for unused credit packs may be requested within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.

4. Community Contributions & Sharing Mode

Negative Five World features a community data-sharing model:

• By enabling Sharing Mode, you agree that your enrichment results may be shared with other users on the Platform.
• Contributions are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any contributed data.
• You grant Negative Five World a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute contributed data within the Platform.
• You represent that any data you contribute does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• Credits earned through contributions are non-refundable and may be revoked if contributions are found to be fraudulent or inaccurate.
• Community flagging of inaccurate data may affect your contributor trust level.

5. AI-Powered Features

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide features including discovery, enrichment, email drafting, grant writing, and match scoring. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any purpose.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or Platform systems.
• Submit false, misleading, or spam data through the contribution system.
• Use the email sending features to send unsolicited bulk emails or violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Platform data without written permission.
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform or impose unreasonable load on infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, features, branding, and aggregated data, is the intellectual property of Negative Five World. You retain ownership of data you upload or contribute, but grant us the rights described in Section 4. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our prior written consent.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Negative Five World and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of data, AI outputs, match scores, or any other information provided through the Platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Negative Five World operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of said jurisdiction.
